Privacy Policy
Effective date: August 25, 2026
1. Who We Are
Shopimaster provides Shopify store development, custom app development, and e-commerce optimization services. For privacy questions, contact [email protected].
2. Information We Collect
We may collect the name, email address, and message you submit through our contact form; store domains submitted to the Theme Detector; email addresses used to unlock additional Custom Field Generator fields; and aggregated analytics such as page views, referrers, browser type, and country.
Theme Detector queries and Custom Field Generator previews are processed to return a result and are not intentionally stored as a persistent user profile. Generated field configurations and Liquid code remain in your browser.
3. Chrome Extension
The Shopimaster Shopify Theme & App Detector uses HTTP and HTTPS host access to run a lightweight Shopify-signal check locally after a page finishes loading or its tab becomes active. This event-driven check updates the pinned compass without opening the inspector. It reads a bounded set of public storefront globals, DOM markers, and resource addresses, does not run as a persistent content script, and does not retain the result. Clicking the compass injects a packaged, isolated Shopimaster drawer for the full local storefront inspection; clicking again, pressing Escape, or using the close button removes it. The store favicon may be displayed directly from the active storefront without a referrer; app logos and interface assets are bundled locally. Page HTML, the visited domain, scan results, and browsing history are not sent to Shopimaster or an analytics endpoint.
Shopimaster website links open only after an explicit click. Detailed analysis includes the current hostname so the requested web scan can begin; the header logo and expert-help link do not include it. Standard website analytics may apply after deliberate navigation to shopimaster.com. The extension does not use advertising, affiliate tracking, or private telemetry.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to answer inquiries, provide requested services, operate and improve the website, understand aggregate usage, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data.
5. Analytics and Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand site usage. Google may process device, browser, approximate location, and interaction data under its own terms. You can restrict cookies through your browser settings.
6. Email Verification and Newsletter
We use Resend to deliver contact-form messages and Custom Field Generator verification emails. If you separately opt in to the newsletter, your verified email is added to our mailing list for Shopify resources and updates. Newsletter consent is optional and you can unsubscribe through a message link or by contacting us.
7. Third-Party Services
Our website may interact with Shopify, hosting providers, Google Analytics, Google services used by the Theme Detector, and Resend. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies.
8. Data Retention
We retain contact and newsletter data only as long as reasonably needed to respond, deliver services, honor your subscription, maintain business records, or meet legal obligations. Generator unlock status is stored in a signed browser cookie for up to one year.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability of personal data, withdraw marketing consent, or object to certain processing. Send requests to [email protected].
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
11. Changes and Contact
We may update this policy and will publish the revised effective date here. Questions and requests can be sent to [email protected].
